A brief for marketing: the campaign page, a web search, a draft a lead will edit

By Team Two · Last updated September 23, 2026 · 2 min read

This is an example, not a customer story, and not a measured result.

The marketing lead drops a Notion page into the agent's hands: a spring campaign for a feature called shared inboxes, audience is operations leads in the Nordics, and the piece should not sound like a product dump. She asks for a brief, not a finished article.

What the agent uses

  • Notion, to read the campaign page and to create the brief as a new page under it.
  • The content-strategy skill, so the brief has an audience, a promise, an outline, and a list of claims it must not make.
  • Web search, to see how other operations tools describe shared inboxes this month. Search is a look, not a rank tracker.

It does not have your ad account, your SEO suite, or a social inbox unless you connect one. The brief does not pretend those numbers exist.

The page it leaves behind

The new Notion page has a working title, the reader (an operations lead who already has a shared mailbox and hates another login), three sections, and a "do not say" list taken from your own claims rules: no customer logos you have not approved, no time-saved figures, no "GDPR compliant" badge. Sources from the web search are linked, so the lead can throw out the ones that are ads.

A daily digest is the same shape on a schedule. Web search, a short note in Slack, and a person who decides which mention is worth a reply. That is not a listening product. It is a search you asked for every morning.

Publish stays with the lead

The agent does not post the article, does not schedule the social line, and does not email the list. The lead edits the outline, kills one section, and assigns the draft to a writer. Skills that sound like go-to-market, including SEO and email, are playbooks. They still need tools you attached and a person on the send.

Frequently asked questions

Can it watch competitors every day?+

It can run a scheduled web search and post what it found. It cannot see a private social account or an analytics tool you did not connect.

Can the brief become the article in the same step?+

Ask for that in a second pass, after the lead has marked up the brief. One step that both strategizes and publishes skips the edit.
